Here is something you
do not see everyday!
I have never seen a Polaroid
 "dual image kit" and can not even
 find any information on this either.

Someone had suggested that it was
similar to a stereo camera such used by
 DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle) years ago

You are looking at a vintage
"Dual Image Kit Model 127 -
for Polaroid Cameras"
with two (2) Vivitar flash.

Dual image kit is unique.
It has a slide bar with the
option of shooting dual images,
right side or left side only images
(See photos 8 & 9)

DUAL IMAGE KIT HISTORY:

Made by:
Mast Development Company
Davenport,IA 52803

[Original company name was
'Keystone View Company' until they
were bought out by Mast Development]
 
I can find NO information
about this dual image kit.
I have to assume this is from
the 1960's era for two reasons:

**(1) This dual image kit came off a
 Polaroid Automatic 230 Camera
[1967-1969]

**(2) Mast Development Company acquired
Keystone View Company in 1963.

'KEYSTONE VIEW COMPANY' HISTORY:

Keystone View Company was a major
 distributor of stereographic images,
 and was located in Meadville,Pennsylvania.
 From 1892 through 1963 Keystone produced and distributed both educational and comic/sentimental
stereoviews,and stereoscopes

By 1905 it was the world's
largest stereographic company.

In 1963 Department A (stereoviews sold to individual families) and the Education Departments were closed down, but Keystone continued to manufacture eye-training stereographic products as
a subsidiary of Mast Development Company.
 In 1972 Mast closed the Meadville manufacturing site.

MOUNTING BRACKET:

Metal mounting bracket uses
 TWO (2) screws to mount
 on bottom of camera.
It also has a "SLIM BAR" that slides inside
 the camera's frame where the retractable
 devises is for opening and closing the camera.
This "SLIM BAR" is for the bracket's screws
to attach to keep the metal bracket in place.
(SEE VERY LAST PHOTO, 12)

Please NOTE:
Unfortunately,I lost one (1) of the screws.
I have searched high and low for this
screw and have no idea where it went.
This will come with at least the other screw.
It can be compared for size and be replaced
(See "Sample Photos" 5 & 6)

You will noticed the right-hand side
 "flasher's bar" will move back and forth.

The left-hand side "flasher's bar" does NOT move
