MOD Voodoo5 5500 AGP/PCI 3Dfx cards.

Since
many people contacts me via private requesting MODDING his 3Dfx Cards. I
have decidided to add new auction for people who not know me and
possibly not knows it is possible.
MOD YOUR VOODOO5 5500 AGP/PCI
If you are a fan from 3Dfx and you like 3Dfx cards perhaps you can be interested to mod your 3Dfx card. If interested to do it, dont worry, it is very easy.
What kind of MOD my 3Dfx card can own:
1.- Upgrade TSOP MEMORY with fast speed. You can choose between 5, 4, 3'5ns
2.- Upgrade VSA100 chip BGA with last revision 3rd 320 used in Voodoo5-6000 and to able to handle speed over 200MHz clock speed using good cooling.
3.- Upgrade your 3Dfx card from 64Mb@128Mb MEMORY RAM SIZE. You need to know that this MOD does not work with all motherboard if using Windowx XP but under Win98 everything goes well.
3a.- Add JUMPER SETTING FOR MEMORY SIZE on fly - You can choose between 8/16/32/64 & 128Mb - simply moving jumper cap before powering up the PC. If you card has problems using 128Mb for incompatiblity motherboard issue you always can setting up 64Mb and everything will work as always. Or simply you are interested to know how perform your card with less memory size or for doing Benchmarks. This is your option.
4.- VCore MOD - You want more Voltage for Overclocking - 3V instead stock voltage.
NEW 5.- Mod AGP4x 1.5V - with this mod you can use your V5 5500 AGP into motherboard with AGP4x 1.5V.

MOD1.- cOST 115€ - FAST TSOP MEMORY
MOD2.- COST 115€ - NEW VSA100 3RD REVISION - 355-0026-320 part number.
MOD3.- COST 150€ - UPGRADE 64@128Mb
MOD3a.- COST 50€ - JUMPER FOR SETTING MEMORY SIZE ON FLY.
MOD4.- COST 25€ - VCore VSA100 3V insted of stock voltage (Overclocking).
MOD5.- COST 85€ - Include an AGP RISER moded and built by me and rework V5 for getting compatibility under 1.5V AGP.
MOD6.- COST 40€ - Only mod V5 AGP for compatibility 1.5V AGP. This price not include the agp riser- perhaps you already own one.

If you only want to mod your V5 card with MOD1 & MOD4 - You have the option to send me the offer according prices you listed before. It is 140€. You only want MOD4, send me offer 25€, so on...

Time for doing MOD will be around 2 weeks. Once tested and ended card is send back. In the auction is included the price for sending back.
Of course in prices is all material included, and you pay both shippings. Once payment is done I will send you an email with my address where you must send cards. All MODs have 1 month of warranty. If there are any problem you send me card and works will be free. YOu only pay for shipping cost.
Note- Since ebay charge fees if you contact me via private and you want to mod your card. Prices will be more nice. But if you dont know me and you want a safely auction do it all across ebay.
