The Tanzer T22 was designed from the drawing board to be a “One Design Racer” that can be comfortably used as a cruiser.

This T22 Sailboat has additional racing modifications, to make her even faster, including a custom, deep Racing Rudder with Teak Tiller and Auto-Tiller Hardware,  custom Running Rigging Racing Hardware configurations, superfluous Weight Reduction, with Refrigerator, Table, Head, and Cushion deletes. The standard deep draft 3’.42” Keel allows T22s to be Blue Water boats, that also handle very well in deep lakes & bays.

Currently in the water & located in New Jersey’s beautiful Barnegat Bay, this T22 is fully outfitted & ready to sail to Southerly destinations. If you have always dreamed of sailing down the Intracoastal Waterway, to Florida, this is the boat that can make that dream come true!

She’s all set up, and ready to sail. Well-maintained, by a long-time sailor, she comes with a Johnson Long-Shaft Sailmaster 6, a robust 6hp outboard motor with a 6 Gallon Fuel Tank. Rolling Jib, and Mainsail are set, and are in great condition. Mainsail comes with high quality blue cover.

Danforth Anchor and Anchorline are in the Anchor Compartment, ready for use. 

Shroud Tension has been set correctly. Full-perimeter Lifelines are safe, and detachable hardware operates correctly.

Battery is healthy, with solid charge. Flexible Solar Panel charger provides battery trickle charge. 

Electric Bilge Pump works correctly. All wiring going to the electrical panel is in place.

Full, custom fitted storage cover for entire sailboat is available.

This boat has been kept meticulously clean, and is regularly detailed.

Boat is completely structurally sound, with sturdy, excellent, heavy-duty fiberglass, all around. There is no damage to the fiberglas, and there are no fiberglass repairs. She’s a very Solid & Safe boat!

Compass is available in the cockpit, for easy use.

High-quality Fenders are included, as well as High-Quality Anti-Chafing Mooring Lines.

This is a fast boat. She will outperform most sailboats her size. She is comfortable, with a great layout, down below deck, in the cabin. She has an unusually spacious cockpit, with two large cockpit storage lockers.

The cabin & V-Berth feature seven separate storage holds, which is really great for keeping supplies, & provisions organized.

All Teak, inside & out is intact, and well-maintained.

Two burner electric stove & VHF Radio are included, as well as three new Lifejackets, and a flotation cushion.

This boat has a New York Registration, which will have to be transferred to your state. You’ll want to add a portable head & a water bladder for the sink, but that’s about it. Unlike other boats out there, there’s little further expense, as she’s fully outfitted, and ready to go!
