You might add something to the question about the receipt that none is need to get warranty work done. The warranty follows

the serial number and not the owner. Which is why you might want to remove the pic of the S/N - it's quite common for people

to use a real serial number to repair their out-of-warrany machine. - Jason

If you are looking at this, you already know that X201s is among the rarest thinkpad ever because they discontinued it

almost immediately after they released it - rumor has it that it's due to the shortage of 1440X900 16:10 ratio LCD.

 

Anyways, I bought this notebook directly from Lenovo with customized specs on 3/2/2010. As of today, you still have

425 days left on warranty (I bought it with 3 year warranty)

 

You get the following items

- X201s with original box and AC adapter, packaging inserts, etc

- 3 batteries (including one that originally came with the notebook. they are all GENUINE LENOVO-made)

1. 9-cell battery with 264 charge count (battery still in good condition with 4+ hours)

2. 9-cell battery with 184 charge count (battery still in good condition with 4+ hours)

3. 6-cell battery with 67 charge count (this one looks like new and performs like new)

 

The specs of the X201s are as follows. I put the original Hard Drive(160GB 5400rpm) back to keep the price low.

I used X201s first, with 500GB HDD, and then 256GB SSD, so the original HDD got used very little. I'm selling 256GB SDD

in seperate auction. (Check it out if you need SDD also!)

Note about the condition of the laptop

I used it mostly for my school work and I used it both at school and at home. Since I had several

batteries, I used it with batteries 99% of the time. The laptop shows signs of use with numerous scratched and

scuffs from normal use. Screen is clean, however, and has no bad pixel.

And THERE'S NO CRACKS OR DAMAGES in the notebook.

(I didn't use pouch when I carry in a bag because Thinkpads are built tough so I felt no need)

 

Please inspect the pics carefully. This is a used notebook and it definately shows.

If in doubt, email me for higher-resolution pics. You may also request for additional

pics if you want to inspect specific part of the notebook.

Rest assured, while it was used in normal fashion, it was never abused. That means

it was NEVER DROPPED NOR SPILLED LIQUID, etc. Please email me if you

have further question.

 

I will ship to USA and Canada only. HI, AK and Canada pays actual shipping, which will be MUCH higher than

$20 (But I will take only the actual shipping cost and not a penny more in this case)

No return accepted but naturally I will accept DOA return if the buyer gets back to me within the reasonable time frame

(let's say 48 hours after receipt? I'm a resonable person and I won't say no if you report DOA in the 49th hour :) )

It is an awesome notebook and I would use it myself, except that I have too many notebooks already.
