This fabulous antique kerosene lamp has a wonderful embossed decorative metal base with it's original green paint, a delightful delicately thin hand blown and etched chimney and a brass burner labelled "Banner" with a thumb wheel reading "P&A Mtg Co., Waterbury, Conn. Made in USA". P&A refers to Plume and Atwood which was founded in Waterbury in 1869 and produced a full line of lamps and lamp trimmings in Waterbury until 1955 when they relocated to Thomaston, CT. I belive this beautiful old lamp to be a late 19th century piece. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, condition and overall beauty of this fantastic antique kerosene table lamp.

This complete lamp stands 20 3/4 inches tall with it's chimney in place. Without the chimney, the lamp is 13 1/2 inches tall to the top of the burner. The delicate etched glass chimney is 8 3/4 inches tall and in great shape, free of any cracks, chips or hairlines. The glass kerosene reserve is also in good condition, free of cracks or chips. The metal base is 8 1/4 inches tall to the bottom of the kerosene reserve. Overall this is a wonderful old lamp and a great find for collectors.
