About The Jewelry Connection
The Jewelry Connection has several years of reselling vintage jewelry experience and a lifetime love of vintage jewelry. While I don't claim to be an expert in all facets of vintage jewelry, I do have knowledge gleaned from these many years. Some items are described in more detail, though the majority need to be assessed and evaluated by the buyer on the close-up photos. I have a huge inventory and in an attempt to get through it all, most items have very little additional information other than photos, but you can bid with confidence as items are 100% guaranteed. ( I find most buyers judge off the photos much more than any description anyhow). Don't let my start prices fool you! I start all jewelry off at very low opening bids and in the true spirit of auctions, allow the bidders to determine value without reserves. All vintage jewelry items come from estates across the country, though can very widely in age from over 100 years to modern items. No reproductions. This means I do not purchase vast quantities of reproduction rhinestone brooches marked Weiss (or similar) and attempt to pass them off to unknowing customers as vintage. Some items are new with tags, but all are from estates and these items just happened to have never been worn. It is not uncommon to find items forty years old still with original tags, but it is also common to find my listing of new on card (or new off card) that were purchased very recently. ITEMS ARE 100% GUARANTEED - so bid with confidence!
Condition & Size
If item condition is not specified, please view photos for evaluation. I've sorted through my jewelry and pulled all the "junk" pieces and only list items in wearable condition unless specifically noted otherwise. Some display like new with no visible wear, others have slight wear typical for age and all are from estates.
Please use measuring ruler reference for size. Sorry, but it is impossible for me to measure each item due to time. Some items will have additional measurements listed as time allows.

Shipping & Handling
Items are sent first class (or parcel post if over 13 oz) and have delivery confirmation and insurance. You will receive shipping confirmation and tracking number which you can track yourself through eBay if you are wondering where your package is.
Domestic shipping for Jewelry:
First item is $2.95, 2-5 items $3.95 and .25 for each additional items. Combine shipping rates apply only to items paid in one payment through PayPal. Paying in multiple payments will result in multiple packages with no shipping discounts. Once an item is paid it is in line for shipping. I cannot "hold" your package due to ebay policies resulting in higher fees for the seller.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International shipping is by priority mail order to comply with eBay/PayPal restrictions for tracking packages. Charge is $19.99 for first item. Additional items can be added for nominal charges. Buyer is responsible for all customs fees and seller is not responsible for any delays due to customs.
My stated handling time is 1 day, holidays and weekends excluded. Occasionally packages may be delayed. I am not a corporation with lots of employees so your package can be delayed to to "life happens" reasons. Try as I might to be working 6 days a week, sometimes "life happens" - births, deaths, hilliness, pipes burst...you get the picture. If it is extremely important that a package go out within that one day (most will anyway) please email me and I will accommodate you as best as possible. I strive for excellent customer service, but please be aware you are dealing with an individual, not a corporation where business goes on regardless of "life".
Please be aware that "estimated delivery date" is set by USPS/eBay and is sometimes a bit over confident in USPS running smoothly. (For example, I personally went to post office and mailed a package to a family member on the 7th at lunchtime. It arrived in California on the 18th, taking 11 days to reach its destination when USPS stated 3-4 days). Please keep in mind that I don't think USPS/eBay factors in the area you live in when giving this estimation giving the same delivery time if you are 20 miles from my home or 2000 miles. Please base your judgment of shipping based on my getting your package to the post office quickly and not rate my stars low due to USPS incompetence.

The only way to communicate with me is through eBay (though the "contact seller" on the item you have purchased or are interested in). I DO NOT REPLY to any other type of correspondence through the computer and I do not answer emails submitted outside of eBay due to security reasons and massive volume. eBay has a message center that emails come through and I respond to emails through that system.
