Peugeot 406 coupe 2.2 hdi black edition 2003 52 plate. needs new clutch non runner ( can be brought of ebay for aound £120) mot till 2nd dec 2012
Needs towing away. The good bits about this car it had a new exhaust back box 2 days before the clutch went so is like new and had 2 new rear tyres 1 week before clutch going so are like new too.front tyres were new in january and has around £20 diesel in the tank. so has had over £270 spent on it in last month. it had new cambelt and water pump at (160000miles march 2011) its also had other bits including new alternator and various bits near the end of 2011. have had it serviced at a peugeot specialist. This car has also been chipped (mixed for economy and improved performance and had dpf turned off and removed physically from the car) No engine diagnostic light has come on since being chipped. Due to the time it would be in for repair decided to sell as spares or repair. will need to be towed away. car is located at mildenhall suffolk. car has covered 182630 miles. it is the bkack edition so has half leather interior and jbl amp speakers. with me driving have achieved 45 - 50 mpg which was always satisfying with the performance. the not so good bits its rear bumper has been damaged on the corner so is duct taped because it is black from distance it is not that noticeable and the front wind screen passenger side rubber has duct tape over it. it does not leak it just to stop a flapping around noise. it has other normal wear and tear age related marks and as stated in title requires new clutch. please note I am not a mechanic but am sure it is clutch that needs replacing. i have the v5 and mot certificate. with some receipts for work carried out on car. have one key does not have service book.
