The mattress, as with our other mattress models, is a two-sided mattress, so you can not only rotate the mattress head to foot, but also flip it over and use the other side for better longevity. The covering is our sturdy, brushed canvas organic ticking, and is quilted with our chemical free French wool to aid in breathability, provide an all natural fire barrier, and to resist dust mites. Firmness rating of 4 (1 being the firmest and 5 being the softest within the line). The 7-Zone all natural latex core upgrade combines improved shoulder and hip flexibility to relieve pressure points, while still providing more firmness for the lower back. Seven firmness zones, special "pin core" construction for breathability, no mattress springs for motionless comfort, independent support for two people of varying weights, symmetrically designed. The 7-Zone latex core is 1" thicker than the 1-Zone latex core that this model comes with, which makes the mattress 8" thick with the 7-Zone upgrade.
