All boats must conform to the maximum sizes of 19 metre (length) 4 metres (width) 1.2m (draft). Minimum length of craft for these moorings is 15 metres.

Just released, the latest berth from our newest residential mooring development at Speirs Wharf in Glasgow. Berth 4 provides a sheltered and well-serviced position on the linear pontoon.

The winning bid is the ANNUAL mooring fee and the lucky bidder who secures this mooring will enter into a three-year leasehold agreement with Scottish Canals. Our Managing Agent, Click-Let Water, will be in contact with the winner soon after the auction closes to facilitate the smooth transition into their new lifestyle. Signing of the lease must be completed within 28 days of the auction ending. The only additional fee is for the navigation license, which is currently £145.00 per annum.

The mooring is for residential use only. Please contact us to discuss any queries you may have. We may allow the mooring to be transfered in the event of a Customers' boat being sold.

There are no car parking spaces available for use by residents at these moorings. Bus, bike, train and underground services are all close to the moorings. If required, there are car parking facilities on Craighall Road, just a short walk from Speirs Wharf.

All services, including utilities, local taxes and third-party charges, will be payable by the lessee. A £500 non-refundable reservation fee will be required to be paid within 5 days of the close of the auction. This will be deducted from the first year's mooring fee. Contact us directly to arrange payment of this. Scottish Canals operate flexible payment methods for the remaining balance, including monthly, quarterly or annual payment by direct debit.

Boat displayed in the images above is 'Blue Hue', Scottish Canal's show boat and is not included in the sale price. Winning bidders will need to buy their own boat.

All successful bids are subject to a vetting process, which will include boat safety and aesthetics, and may include the provision of references and/or a third-party credit check. In all applicable cases, this will be conducted by our appointed Managing Agent.
