This is a truly beautiful piece of genuine solid oak furniture designed by one of our customers and built to last by our team of certified master craftsmen. It has been lacquered in Morrels "Plum Mahogany" Stain which is not part of our standard range of colours but if you would prefer this finish then simply let us know. Hand-crafted in our own UK factory using only the finest 18mm thick 100% SOLID EUROPEAN OAK by our team of certified "Master Craftsmen". Most oak furniture sold in the UK is made out of 9mm thick timber which we only use in our factory as backing board so as you can imagine this is a very substantial piece of furniture and weighs twice as much as our popular pine versions. Please don't confuse it with all the other so called "solid oak furniture" found elsewhere on-line. This truly is the real deal!

Estimated lead times and dates are shown upfront with every listing and on screen at point of sale. So long as we keep these promises, please be fair to us when leaving feedback. Quality furniture takes time to build and deliver so if you don’t want to wait we may not be for you. We now use our own double crewed vans for all of our deliveries and cover most of the UK mainland, offering a virtual white gloves service to the room of your choice all for less than the price of a kerbside pallet and often at around half the cost of our competitors for a comparable level of service. Of course, sometimes it may take slightly longer to do everything for ourselves this way but we’ve found it to be by far the most professional and reliable solution to our transport needs so please be patient with us, we’d much rather get everything right for you first time. We deliver seven days a week and generally agree delivery appointments with time slots and contact numbers for the van crew around two to four weeks in advance then phone ahead from the road on the day when around 30 minutes away. Our experienced logistics team plan these long multi-drop runs really carefully, but even the best laid plans can be unexpectedly disrupted without warning on the day by road closures, accidents, broken lifts and a whole host of other snags so here too we just ask for your patience and understanding, especially when leaving feedback which may affect our crew’s livelihoods.
