This is a 1971 AMF Ski-Daddler XX-1800 vintage racing snowmobile (Model SD18M30B).  A rare chance to own a rare machine, the XX-1800 is one of the most sought after vintage snowmobiles in the collector world and this one is a beauty!!  Completely restored in 2008 using many new old stock parts including seat cover, all decals, driven clutch,  cables, hood emblems, fuel door emblem, engine mounts and more.  The 793cc Hirth "Honker" was rebuilt using new pistons and rings...starts easy and runs crisp--and is it ever loud!!!  The levers, handlebars and bumpers were rechrome plated.  As an added touch, the three megaphone exhaust pipes were also chrome plated.  The hood, skis and tunnel were professionally painted.  In 2009, this XX-1800 participated in the Spokane Racer Reunion, a poster showing the snowmobile with the others along with a Certificate of Participation is included.  This  superbly restored AMF glistens, turns heads and has been a winner at every vintage show it has been displayed at.
