This bike is the result of a restoration project conducted over a few years and recently completed. It is a turn-key motorcycle that I have put only about 250 miles on since completing the restoration. It's a fine motorcycle and I think it matches the quality of the professionals on the West Coast. Here are the details: it is a 1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado with Pennsylvania antique plates and a free and clear Pennsylvania title in my name. The engine and frame serial numbers match: 057528. It has police floorboards and foot controls. The heel/toe shifter is on left side with one down/four up shifting configuration (relative to the toe). It has the police kickstand, police rear crash bars, polished aluminum Borrani wheels (not absolutely perfect but very very good), the hubs have been bead blasted and coated, the hub cover plates and brake plates have been polished, stainless steel spokes have been installed, and there are new new Kenda tires/tubes. The wheel bearings have been serviced, properly adjusted, and new wheel seals have been installed. The brake shoes are new as is the front brake cable and switch; the rear brake switch is new. The swing arm has been chromed and the final drive case has been polished. There is a new u-joint, new fork tubes/bushings/seals, the frame is coated, and the the sheet metal has excellent quality paint. The tank is lined with POR-15, the tool boxes have keys, there is modern electrical switchgear, and there is a 600 watt automotive alternator in place of the generator. There are functioning turn signals, a new battery, and a Dyna points amplifier in the ignition system (points carry 25 mA insteal of 10 A of current and last forever). The engine has a re-ground and hardened crank, new rod and main bearings, reground cam followers, T3 pushrods and rockers, a Viton main seal, and all other seals are new neoprene. The cylinders are new nigusil with aluminum pistons and matching rings. The pistons are balanced and the cylinder heads are the T3 style, fully rebuilt, and with aluminum bolted header clamps. The headers and are stainless steel and there are new slashback exhausts with the necessary vibration mounts. The carbs are rebuilt, the choke control is on left head cover, and there are cylinder guards on the head covers. The transmission has a new viton input seal seal, all other seals are new neoprene, the shifter drum shimmed has been and adjusted/shimmed, a new shifter return spring has been installed, and the clutch plates and spring have been replaced. The seat is original and not perfect, and there is a small paint chip on the front fender that has been repaired. Please see the relevant pictures. I am a hobbyist and not a dealer or a shop so this bike is sold as-is with no warranty or guarantee of any sort at all. I will be glad to deliver this motorcycle in an enclosed trailer to your location within approximately 500 miles of Erie, PA, at cost, on top of the selling price.
