Description:

This board will control one of the small AD9850 DDS (5 volt) modules available on eBay. It supports a 16x2 line LCD display showing the operating frequency, band and step size. The frequency can be adjusted using either a rotary encoder or two push buttons. Two additional buttons are used to select the frequency band and frequency step size.

Two types of Short Kit are available type "A" and type "B"

This listing is for the type "A" short kit which includes the LCD, Rotary Encoder and Mounting Kit

(see seperate listing for short kit type "B", which does not include the LCD, Rotary Encoder and Mounting Kit)

This is a "Short" kit, which means you get

the main controller PCB
a pre-programed PIC micro-controller
all the passive components, and connectors
the Blue LCD display with backlight
the Rotary Encoder
mounting hardware to complete the main PCB

You need to add the following items

the AD9850 (5 volt) module (available on eBay)
two or four push-buttons
