It is a very fast 16 1/2 ft boat! Will pull anything you have behind it! The motor fires up and runs perfectly! The 98 Speedster has a twin 782cc, 2 stroke, 110HP Bombardier engines for a total of 220HP! This boat also hash R & D Performance exhaust, intake and suppressors professionally installed. The motor is synced and carbs are calibrated to them for optimum performance! Over $4000 in engine upgrades alone for big performance!! One of the engines have been replaced with a new motor from SBT ($1100 with 1yr warranty) in June of last month. The compression on the other motor 150 and 155 still Like factory! All 4 carbs were also completely rebuilt. The jet pumps were also checked. My mechanic said they were wearing and depending on how much the boat is ran, they wouldn't need to be touched till next year. In my opinion, the 98-99 Speedster is the best of many worlds! Fast, reliable, and roomy enough for 5 people. The Rotax 787cc engine wS and still is one of the most reliable engines Rotax ever assembled. I may be biased but I believe the 98-99 Speedster is the best of the 2 stoke boats. Overall the boat is in great shape. Never been dry docked or ran ashore! There are some minor scratches in the exterior paint/decals. Nothing deep or bad at all. Both cockpit lids are intact and not cracked/broken like most. The seats are in great condition minus 3 have slight cracking in them. All gauges work with the exception of the fuel gauge which is common for this model. The gas tank is clear so it's easy to see your fuel level at anytime. Propulsion parts were replaced not too long ago. All running/cabin lights, blower, bilge pump work perfectly! Just had it completely serviced. Great fun, FAST boat! It has plenty of power for thrill seekers! It has a nice swim platform on the back with a built in ladder and a retractable stow away ski pole for ropes. Hydro-Turf rubber grip added to the platform and steps for added traction. Comes with the Shore-lander trailer. Have titles for both trailer and boat in hand and ready to go! Currently registered and tagged in the state of Indiana. Towable tube and 6 life vests included! |
