Monitor Audio 700 PMC Reference cherry pair of speakers Summary: Very good condition pair of Monitor Audio 700 PMC speakers previously enjoyed as rears in a high-end set-up but extremely capable pair of stereo speakers in their own right. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. They sound gorgeous, conveying emotion well, with a surprising amount of bass for the enclosure size without sounding boomy. thick MDF, real wood veneer (internally and externally) Dimensions: 35cm H x 22.5cm W x 24cm D Provision to bi-wire Condition: The cherry veneer is lovely, although not perfect. The top of one of the speakers has some score-marks which are visible in certain lights. I have tried to capture this in some of the images as best I can. The base of the speakers have rested on spiked stands and this has left some marks, although these haven’t penetrated the veneer and would not be seen in-situ. They still have their original links in place that allow standard amplifier hook-up instead of bi-wiring. There is a tiny dent on one of the bass-cones. It is minuscule but I have included a picture to show this. Incidentally, this is the other speaker to the one that has a lightly scuffed top. The grilles are in very good condition with a minor hole in one corner at the bass and some snagging, both imperfections are shown in the pictures.
