How to use:

1. Always ensure that the hair is clean, dry and combed through 

and that the sections you want to curl are no bigger than 3cm wide. 

For very long hair, use a smaller section size. 

2. Hold Perfect Curl with the open part of the curl chamber 

facing the head, positioning it where you would like the curl to start. 

3. Ensuring that the hair section is held straight and placed 

neatly through the centre of Perfect Curl, close the handles together 

and let go of the hair, allowing it to be 

automatically taken into the curl chamber.

4. The beep indicator will start. 

5. The amount of beeps you hear will vary depending on the 

time setting being used. Hold the handles shut until 

you hear four quick beeps in succession to indicate the time is up. 

6. Release the handles first to let the curl free and 

gently pull Perfect Curl away from the head.

The Babyliss Miracurl automatic hair curling iron is truly a miracle - 

it is so aptly named. 

I have tried so many irons since i worked in this company and 

this is by far the easiest - i daresay it is a dummy-proof iron. 

For those who have trouble using normal curling irons , 

this will be the perfect tool for you. It is super easy to you, 

just take a strand of hair and clip it - 

the machine will literally suck your hair into the barrell and curl it - 

it will then beep - and then you can open the barrel 

releasing freshly curled hair.

The Miracurl Babyliss is truly a miracle and i've not come 

across anything so simple and fuss free. 

The ceramic tourmaline barrel crates curls that is not dry or frizzy. 

It also has the following 3 functions:

 a) Temperature adjustment: Higher temperature gives you 

tighter or smaller curls whereas lower temperature gives you larger curls. 

you can combine temperature and Size of curls /

heat period adjustment to get your ideal curls.

b)Size of curls: or bigger curls you may select 12 and smaller 

curls you may select 8 

(this dictates the number of seconds the machine 

will heat your curls before it beeps). 

the longer the heating period, the smaller the curls, 

the shorter the period, the larger the curls will be forming waves/wavy hair. 

c)Direction of curls: You can select R for curls swaying to the 

right or L for curls swaying to the left,

if you want symmetrical curls ala Hollywood stars 

curls like Beyonce's for instance, 

you may select R for the left side and then L for 

the rght side to get symmetrical swaying curls on each side.

If you want natural looking curls on any direction just select 

A for Auto and the machine will adjust your curls 

to any directions for a natural finish. 

I have personally tried both the Original and the OEM (copy).

You are purchasing the OEM unit for this post. 

The OEM one is much cheaper @ RM 299 but comes with 

slight flaws not found in the original Miracurl babyliss unit @ RM 750.

below is my brief summary for both the Original 

and the OEM copy so you know which to purchase:

Review or Original Babyliss Miracurl Pro perfect curl:

This thing works smoothly - Does not get stuck even if you 

don't comb your hair prior to using it. 

And if you take more than 1cm thickness of hair to be inserted it will still curl it.

The curls are not dry or frizzy due to the ceramic tourmaline material.

it is also heavier/sturdier than the OEM copy.

I will be doing a video review on how to differentiate the original 

and fake/oem copy of the babyliss miracurl and also take photos 

and post them here as it is important to know this. 

Many sellers we've spotted online/offline selling fake ones 

at exorbitant prices and also cheaper ones but claimed 

to be real/genuine when it is not based on my experience 

seeing//using both the original and fake ones myself. 

We will be honest on both our units so all of you can make 

an informed decision before purchasing which one based 

on my honest feedback and as much as we did not want 

to sell the OEM ones initially there were many requests 

due to lower budgets hence we took both in to cater to 

different budgets but pls read my personal review and advice 

on the Fake/OEM miracurl  @ RM 299  

against the Original one @ RM 750 before deciding.

Review of OEM Copy or Babyliss Miracurl: 

On the outside it looks similar like the original one but there 

are a few differences which i will show later in a video demo/review.

I will spell out briefly the main differences here.

Results wise the curls look similar - 

but it is abit dry compared to the original one.

However, it is not so smooth, 

if you did not comb your hair thoroughly before using this it 

will get stuck in the unit; also if you accidentally took more 

than 1cm thickness of hair strand to curl it will also get stuck.

To avoid this you can only take small sections of hair each time 

approximately 1cm of less each strand and thoroughly comb 

your hair with a hair brush or tangle teezer before using it. 

it will into get stuck if these steps are taken. 

If it get stuck it is natural for anyone to panic - 

don't panic but remain calm as it is fairly easy to remove - 

just turn off the switch and then gentle pull it way from 

the unit at a correct angle and it should come out. 

So yeah that's basically my review in a nutshell for both.

Conclusion:

it's best to get the original if you have the budget. 

The amount may seem high - but it is pretty alright if you do your maths. 

if you wree to set your hair curls in a salon before dinner each 

time it costs rm 30 -rm50. 

If you were to use this 20+ times you will already cover your 

costs for the numerous trips to the salon you would have 

made again to set your hair. You can do it yourself and 

also share with you sister/mum roommate etc to save costs. 

It is not all that pricey in the long run. 

And it is very high quality for the original unit and i am 

not worried about the unit going awol. 

Plus you have 1 year warranty from babyliss UK.

However if budget is tight you may try the OEM version of  

Miracurl but be very careful in using it - 

ensuring combing hair before use and only 

taking thin strands of hair each time.
