This beautiful 11”x13” print of Seabiscuit is a limited edition #14 of 200 from an oil painting by the California artist James Nelson Slick. The painting was commissioned by Marcela Howard in 1940 who, with her husband Charles S. Howard, were the owners of Seabiscuit.  It is said that this painting was Marcela’s favorite of the great thoroughbred.  The print was made available courtesy of the Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation and USMC Col. Michael C. Howard (Ret), great grandson of CS Howard and Howard family historian.  On the back of the print is the hand written signature of Col. Howard.

The Certificate of Authenticity is signed by Col. Howard and also Jacqueline Cooper, President of the Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation.
