This is the rare Marlin Firearms Anniversary Pewter Statue.  I can't remember the full story.

I bet you may know it though.

Only a few of these were made and then the mold was broken.

Very rare.  I have owned this for about 20 years.

I was the first person to open it.  This is the original box and packaging.

I purchased it from a collector.

There was no paperwork to my knowledge.

Thanks for looking!

Apparently these were said to be made in 1989 and given to certain Marlin employees.

I was told back in the mid 90's they only made 125 of them and broke the mold.

Any additional information would be appreciated.

I just got this update from the Marlin Firearms Collectors Association.

Okay, found the newsletter with the initial offering of the pewter statue. It was first offered in November of 1988. The price was $150.00 which included the cost of shipping. The number to be made at the time was 250 and then the mold destroyed. It was an offering by the Marlin Firearms Collectors Association, Ltd. The Association had permission from Frank Kenna to use the Marlin logo from inception of the Association, but permission had to be received each time it was to be used by MFCA.
I hope this helps.
