Suzuki RGV250 249cc 1989 Just Imported Direct From Japan 9794 Miles Only

Suzuki RGV250, just arrived direct from Japan, our reference 2608/C8.

25,063km, which is about 15,539 miles.

All fairing panels are original although they are scratched and/or broken, it has a few bumps and bruises as you can see, the mirrors are included although not fitted and are scratched on the backs as pictured.

Engine starts and runs well on 2 cylinders and sounds OK.

The keys are not present so we could not open the fuel cap on the fuel tank to see how good or bad it is inside, we have also had to bypass the ignition switch to get her to run on a remote fuel tank.

She's been stood for some time so will need a major service, brakes are not operational and the fork stanchions need replacing at least before she's ready for MOT. No doubt as you are doing that service you'll find a few other age-related bits and pieces that require attention.

As with all of our trade sale imports, she's on offer on the basis that she needs repair and recommissioning, that means that there's no warranty and she's being offered on the understanding that she needs full restoration.

All VAT and import duty are already paid and are included in the price, comes with a NOVA certificate and is, of course, correctly registered on the NOVA database.

Bike is not yet road registered, this isn't a hugely difficult process and we are always only a phone call away should you need help or advice with registering one of our imported machines. Costs to register will be; first registration fee charged by DVLA £55, MOT needed, obviously you need insurance, you'll need a letter to prove the age of the bike so that DVLA can issue an age-related registration number, the cost of these letters depends who you get it from, but the last one that I bought from the VJMC was £30.
