This item comes from traditional manufacture called V. F. Cerveny and sons Hradec Kralove from Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia) The Helicon is very old (from year 1930 - 1935). The Helicon is Bb tunning, its surface is not lacquered with a nice silver pakfong ring. Bore: 20,2mm, Bell 450mm hand shape. Instrument has some mechanical demages, because of its big. There are some dents in the brass (see the foto!). It has NO effect on the quality of play – it is just an esthetical imperfectional! Its valves (ventils) go very well for a casual play.
