Vintage 1960's orignal Enid Collins by Collins of Texas box bag purse. Dark finish wood, beautiful aged patina with "LOVE" spelled out across front, all stones are intact along with the "ec" initials. Black plastic carry handle with gold tone metal trim and brass hardware attachments to body (wood) of purse. Gold tone metal  ball clasp works great does show some wear on finish of wood from opening and closing. and brass hinged bottom and brass footed. Inside is perfect and super clean just like the day it was made in natural wood with the Enid Collins Original Box Bag by Collins of Texas stamped in black. Full size mirror in lid.  Outside finish does show finish wear on edges along with light scratches etc. Varnish on front also has a couple of spots that have a smudge look.   You would never know unless you are looking for flaws and is not seen unless you put it up to light and view sideways. Everything I have pointed out does not effect the look, just adds character.  Measures 8.5 inches across. Height without handle 4-1/2 inches. With handle total height 9-1/4 inches. Depth 2 inches.  Great vintage Enid collins bag!!
