Q: What if I don’t have enough points
to book a full week?
- RCI points are
automatically valid for two years from the date they are allotted, so you
can roll over any unused points to the following year. Also, you may always borrow points from
the following year in order to accommodate a larger unit or a longer
stay. Also, RCI does give you the
option to rent additional points at $0.02 per point.
Q: Are there any fees?
- Because RCI is separate from the resort you own
at, they do charge an annual points membership fee of $124, and they do
frequently offer specials and discounts on long-term membership
extensions. When booking
reservations on RCI.com using the RCI points, RCI charges $39 for one
night, $59 for two nights, $79 for three nights, $99 for four nights, $109
for five nights, $129 for six nights and $149 for seven nights or
more. If using the RCI points to
book at an RCI weeks affiliated resort, the cost for a full weeks
reservation is $189.

How do I know how many points I’ll need?
A. You can
visit RCI.com and browse through their full list of RCI affiliated
resorts. The resorts affiliated with the
RCI points program will have an RCI Points icon, and on the resort information
page, you can view their Points Grid.
Q.
When will I get my points?
A. As an RCI Points owner, your points will be issued to you on the
first day of your Effective Month of every use year. The effective month is determined
by the date the RCI Points account is transferred to you, usually 1 month after
purchase. You can borrow points from the upcoming year. You can roll over your
points for up to Two years. If you are
an existing RCI points member, this new ownership will be allotted on your
existing effective date.
About Closing and
Payment: Upon auction's end, you will receive an email with a link to the
Title Company’s check out process.
This email is automatically sent to the email address you have registered
with eBay, so if this is not your current email address, please update your
eBay contact information prior to the end of the auction. You will be
asked to provide pertinent information to allow Timeshare Closing Services, Inc

What Is A Timeshare?
- Fractional ownership of a unit at a resort; most
commonly for one week of usage.
- There are three common types of timeshares: Fixed
Week, Floating Weeks, and Points.
- Fixed Week: guarantees
the owners use of that same week each year (or every other year)
- Floating Week: allows the
owner to choose which week they wish to travel each year based on the
weeks that comprise their specific floating week ownership
- Points: allows the owner to choose which dates they wish to travel
each year based on the number of points that comprise their points based
ownership
- Usage of the timeshare can vary depending on the
specific ownership. The two most common forms of usage are Annual (every
year) and Biennial (every other year).
- Almost all timeshare resorts are affiliated with an
exchange company which allows you to trade your week so that you can
travel to a different resort of your choice.
