Welcome to Diamond K Folk Art!   Please meet Mifs Lydia~ She is  a Diamond K Folk Art one of  a kind Queen Anne doll~ I have hand sculpted her head and arms from mache and given her a gorgeous set of antique pupiless glass eyes. She has sculpted ears with DETACHED pierced earlobes, so you may remover her antique brass earrings if you wish~ body is cloth heavily weighted for a wonderful substantial feel when holding.  She stands apx 17" on her painted wooden dowel stand. I REALLY love how she came out, so perfectly feminine in her light blush rose pink gown!  Starting from the bottom, she wears ombre pink silk rosettes on her painted on slippers. For modesty, pink silk pantaloon with ribbon ties at the knees. Her silk gown is all hand stitched of coarse, as are always all of my offerings~ every stitch placed with love and intent! Antique lace at her albows and shoulders on the sleeves, with c1870 silk organdy kerchief. I have molded her breast and lightly blushed it, you can see it peeking up from her stomacher~ which is cream silk with antique metal lace edging and matching silk bows in peach and pink silk. Her bonnet is tied on over her sheepskin wig~ long pretty white wool with sides braided.... bonnet itself I made from a precious scrap of c1820 hand embroidered mull~ its FABULOUS!
