A really lovely 5 piece vanity set from A Stowell & co Boston massachusetts silversmiths ,importers  & retailers.Each piece marked sterling /silver.1 hairbrush 27cms/10.1/2 inch long. 8 cms/3inch wide at its widest point. brush natural bristle set in wood. 1 hand mirror beveled glass 36 cm/14 inch long 12 cm/5 inch at widest point 1 cut glass & etched powder jar 8 cm /3 inch high 30 cm  12 inch diameter 1 nail file 20 cm /8 inch long 2 cm /3/4 inch wide.1 comb 19 cm /8 inch long. Each piece monogram M M M  All  in really fine condition a few minor dings mirror glass perfect.Comb all teeth present silver mount slightly lose held with small silver pins,. 2 missing.Each piece with its original cloth bag labelled A STOWELL & C0 BOSTON SILVERSMITHS.Weighs 940 grams approx  this includes the weight of the glass in the mirror and the usual added weight for stability.Early 1900,s This is pre loved so does show signs of use  Good for use or display.
