Product Description
This is a used Autohelm ST4000 Autopilot drive system that is working correctly.
Applying 12v across the terminals drives the motor in both directions, and when connected to an ST4000 head it operates as expected (10 or 1 degree increment or decrement).
The clutch appears to be working correctly, and the gear reduction system runs smoothly without excessive noise. Last time it was serviced, the belt was in good condition, and the overall unit was appropriately lubricated.
I will never knowingly sell an item that doesn't work without indicating it in the item details. I am unable, however to bench test this unit beyond what I have described above. For that reason, I offer a return policy.

Return Policy
I offer a refund if for some reason the unit does not work as described above. In order to qualify for a refund, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item. The item must then be returned within 10 days of your receiving the item and it must be returned in the same condition as it was when sent to you. If these conditions are met, I will refund the purchase price. No shipping costs, either from the original delivery, or the return of the unit, will be refunded.
