This classic aluminum boat was found in southern Indiana. The antique was covered with years of repaint. Under the old paint were sections of the original paint. The original paint scheme was able to be reproduced with high quality automotive paint and etching primer. Transom has been replace and is very solid. Interior plywood has been replaced and carpeted. Bright work has been fished with spar varnish. Vintage steering wheel is not original, but looks great. Electrical system is in working order. Included is the original top windshield which is broke, but can be reproduced by several companies. Front windows have cracks. They were repaired and polished clear, but replacement was the plan. There is a carry on toilet. Tilt trailer is the original and has new galvanized rims with tires, LED lights, winch, and jack. Engine does run and shift well on the hose. It is a 1978 Johnson 85hp. I have yet to drive it on the lake, so I cannot speak for how it runs under a full load. Trim and tilt is currently not working. If I do get that fixed I will add it to the description. Shift cables are badly frayed and should be replaced even though they do work. Clear Indiana titles for both boat and trailer. Please look at pictures and ask any questions you may have before bidding. Boat is for sale locally, and auction will be ended early if sold. I want the new owner to be completely satisfied and positive feedback for both parties. Boat is sold as-is, where-is. As long as payment is made, I can provide outdoor storage for free. I do not have the ability to play with this boat anymore, and will most likely sell at some price....do not hesitate to make offers, or add it to your watch list because I will re-list it in a no reserve auction, if not sold. I have had several questions as to the weight of this rig. Having never put it on scales, I looked for specs for the weight....could not find, but other owners of this boat claim that it weighs between 1200 and 1500 lbs. The engine weighs 300lbs, and the trailer is maybe 1200lbs. So, I'll estimate 3000lbs with no gear. Thanks
