The Veranti Motor Company has been supplying kits since 2004 and the Veranti is the brain-child of Kit Car King John Barlow - Now moved to the Midlands the company has relaunched in 2011 with the
'back by popular by demand' Veranti currently available for the Mark 2 Toyota MR2.
In addition we have released the 2013 Veranti VXF
Sport and the 2014 Veranti Vivace at great introductory prices - please
see 'other items' for details.
So how does an MR2 become a Veranti Coupe? Well,
it’s thanks to our workshops series of bolt-on panels which are as easy
to remove as they are to fit.
And to maintain the MR2’s rust-free
reputation, there are drain holes to get rid of any water running
between the steel and GRP panels.
The first step is to unbolt the front wings
and valance, cutting off the brackets supporting the front edge of the
pop-up light units. Our workshop can guide you at any step of the build
and a full build manual will be issued to our customers to assist them
with their work.
Then it’s time to screw or bolt the panels in
place and, as the moulds are such high quality, they fit well with
little adjustment and no need for endless coats of filler.
The car is lifted by fitting 17 inch wheels (not supplied) and retains the space-saver spare which stows under the bonnet.
Without the rear three-quarter panels, engine
access is improved and the large boot makes the Veranti practical as
well as pretty.
Remember, if you choose to build the Veranti
yourself you’ll receive excellent after sales support. We can help you
tackle any fitting problem, large or small – just ask!
