A deep 18th century Flemish bobbin lace flounce, which is 132" (335cm) long and 18" (46cm) deep.  It has an edging added at each end and the top edge is thicker, but appears to be part of the lace, the lower edge has picots and appears to be original.  It is in very good vintage condition for it's age and size.  I have counted a dozen holes in the ground, but none are particularly big, the longest is 1" (2.5cm) and they are not in the cloth work.  I have tried to give a reasonable impression in the photographs.
