A 4ft 10ins (1.48 metre) length of late 17th or early 18th Century bobbin made, tape lace, which is probably Northern Italian.  The lace is 7 1/2" (19cm) deep, including the small engrelure..  It is mainly, in good vintage condition with some small holes and small repairs to the ground along the length.  There is also a few very small rust spots in one place.
