A Victorian hand made, black chantilly bobbin lace fichu which dates from around 1860 - 80.  It has a spotted ground and scalloped edges.  The fichu is 59" (150cm) wide and 13 1/2" (34cm) deep at the centre.  It is mainly, in very good vintage condition, with some very small breaks and a few minor repairs, shown in the photographs.
