There are many options about, samll ones and large ones, this is the full fledged one, has all th ebells and whistles EXCEPT the Apple ROMS, for obvious reason.

So what is it. It is the best disk backup device for the Atari ST ever, big claim, oh yes. It copies precisely the disk and i havent yet come across one it couldnt do. It even allows you to create a file and send it over to another discovery cart owner to complete.

It can handle all formats of floppies, obviously you need the correct drive to start with, no use trying to back up a 5.25" if you only have 3.5" drives. It can handle high density and back up ANY disk format as it read the disk rather than the disk structure. So you can back up amiga disks and mac ones...

I used to use this when i was recovering floppy data from a corrupt disk, i could get an exact duplicate and mess with that without destroying the master.

So what are the optins on this one: you have a passthrough port - it connects to your ST cartridge slot and this allows you to still attach another cartridge, i used my own customised version of the ultimate ripper along with it.

This option you are NOT restricted to 2 disk drives, you can have upto 4. I used to have the combo dirve i have for sale as my forth. You can boot from drive B, it has onboard clock and switches to where you want the program loaded (hi/lo memory).

As you can see the two slots are for apple mac roms so it can be used as a Macintosh emulator, running 5x faster on a standard ST.

I even have the original box.

You get everything that you see in the pictures PLUS, the disks that go with it. I will include EVERYTHING that i have on the Discovery cartridge, hopefully my parameters collection is still working. Now i have left the shipping blank, because i have also got printed manuals and this would bump the price up of shipping.
