Jim relocated and lived in Ft. McCoy, FL after retirement from a career as a sign painter and graphic artist.  He was a veteran of WWII and was apparently a man with many varied interests.  This painting was acquired at an estate sale some time ago.

The frame measures 21-5/8" w x 17-5/8" t

The scene is two men walking into an orchard which is in full bloom.  The men are in work clothes and are sharing the load of a basket between them.

The frame is in nice condition and the glass was very recently replaced with new UV protective glass by Tru Vue to help protect the image from fading.
