Here we have a Tokai 1984 Goldstar Sound ST50 in Daphne Blue. A clone of the Fender 50s reissue Stratocaster, in the early 1980's these guitars were better than the real thing - so much so that Fender sued Tokai and the model was discontinued. It is widely known as the 'lawsuit' model. This is an exceptionally high quality guitar, on a par with many higher-end Fender Strats I've played.

- It's in excellent condition, hardly a mark on this guitar

- It sounds beautiful and plays very well. All circuitry in perfect working order.

- It is supplied set up, with new strings

Please note: There are a few small dings here and there on the body, and a couple, very small, on the headstock. Hardly visible - close-up photos can be supplied on request. The tip of the toggle switch is missing. I believe the tremolo arm is a replacement by Fender. Also included is a vintage ashtray-style bridge cover. I believe the neck plate is a replacement - there is no serial number, as can be seen in the photos. This was an inherited guitar, so I'm not sure of the reason for this. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me and I will answer them as best I can.
