Here we have a rare and unusual dribbler live steam locomotive. It is a 2-2-0, and is powered by two oscillating cylinders connected to the back axle.  The boiler is made from copper, yet everything else is brass. It appears that the engine should be able to go forward and reverse, as there is a disk valve with lever which changes the steam inlets just like a mamod. There is no burner, and to be honest I wouldn't no how it would be attached.

Its just under 6 inches long,  and from the bottom of the front wheel to the top of the chimney is approx 6 inches tall, too. The gauge is approx 2 & 3/4 inches wide.

Really not sure of make, probably home made perhaps using castings / parts from stevens model dockyard, I would say its rather old, probably dates from 1900's.

A great steam engine - a must for anyone who has an interest in live steam - mamod, bowman, wilesco, bing etc.
