That means the 3 buttons down the front of the dress were never added or included. This in no way flaws the dress. (Description is from costume catalog. ADJUSTMENTS;  Costumes come folded and bagged they may need to be steamed or ironed before wearing. Some adjustments such as, the straps may need to be attached, hems may need to be put in (so that you can make your own size adjustments) Neck closures may need to be added.

DANCE WEAR FACTS;
NOTE! Manufacturer Tagging:
The costumes we sell are considered new with tagging, just not hang tags!  The costume company tagging is in the form of the costume packaged in plastic with the tagging being a sticker relaying the manufacturer details. All dance wear companies do not sell for retail.  They sell direct to teachers only!   Thus, their own form of tags.  Again, NOT hanging tags that you are used to finding in the retail world.
 FYI:The items that we list are dance costumes purchased from many differing costume manufacturers. That means that upon receipt of your costume, it may need to be sized to your individual fit. "Sized" meaning that the item may need the shoulder straps and 
any overlays to shoulders, sewn to the back of the bodice. Hems may also need to be placed.  Fringe may also need to be tacked as fringe 99% of the time cannot be completely sewn onto costume (otherwise it won't stretch and won't fit!)    
Most items will require steaming and/or ironing as dance wear comes packaged very tightly.


Always remember, Girth is the key measurement 
for those items with built in leotards... if too small may cause wedgie. 
 

Body Measurements

Getting the Measurements:

  • Bust/Chest – Measure over the fullest part of your chest with your arms relaxed at your sides.
  • Waist – Measure around where your waist naturally indents. Keep your finger between the tape and your belly.
  • Hips – Measure around the fullest part of the hips and buttocks while standing with your heels together.
  • Girth – Measure from the midpoint on the shoulder towards the front, through the crotch and back around to meet the midpoint of the shoulder.
  • Inseam – Measure from the crotch to the bottom. The inseam length is the number of inches, to the nearest half-inch
