I've had the snare itself less than a couple of years and I've loved it since the day I bought it.
The only reason for my sale is because I recently bought a Ludwig classic maple kit and unlike my old acrylic orange truth kit, it doesn't really match and therefore its not been out my wardrobe once this year!

The snare was brand new when I bought it direct from Truth Drums and was a special piece they put together for namm show that year.
It is in absolute pristine condition, not a scratch. As for the sound of the snare. Its not too deep and its not too shallow. You still get the depth that you want from a deep snare but yet ghost notes etc still sound awesome. Also with the wood being walnut its a lot warmer sounding than your bog standard maple snare, added to that the yamaha style wood hoops. It is one very nice snare drum indeed.

Its seems a shame to keep such a gorgeous snare in a cupboard when someone could get more use out of it than I do.
