I do not know the origin of this map, as far as I am aware this is an original Map not a copy or reproduction

The Map was found folded in a book brought at auction of a similar age but not related to this map

It's possible that this map is from the book - The Heart of the Antarctic being the story of the British Antarctic Expedition 1907-1909 - that included 3 folding maps and was published in 1909 by William Heinemann 

The map which has been folded in a book and has creased fold lines is in a fair condition apart from having  a tear to the middle of the map on the centre fold line which I imagine could be repaired, it has some discoloration and marks to the paper consistent with age - Please see Photos

The map measures approx

17" x 16.5"
