This is a Set of  5 ORIGINAL U.S. Fractional Currency notes--all are 10 cent notes--issued in 1874-75 (these little notes were intended as "small change" to fill the coin shortage). Size: approx.  2" by 3 1/4" each. Color: Off-white paper w/black & red over- printing ; back of the note is printed entirely in Green. "Vignette" portrait of former U.S. Treasury Secretary WILLIAM MEREDITH on front; fancy back/reverse design. Condition = Poor to aGood, well-used & slightly "dark-toned" w/holes, tears, etc. Not a pretty collection, but CHEAP!  VERY Low beginning bid! Buyer pays $1.25S&H. ***Please see scans.
