Unused ''Texas Welcome Dinner'' press ticket, dated 22 November 1963, the day of JFK's assassination. The dinner in honor of President and Mrs. Kennedy and Vice President and Mrs. Johnson, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Austin's Municipal Auditorium, of course never took place. The 2.5'' x 6'' ticket to the Press Section in the balcony is in fine condition.
