A. The size of popper you need depends on the amount of people you want to feed on a regular basis. If you have a large family or frequently
entertain guests, you may want to buy our eight-ounce popper. For small families or small groups of guests, the four-ounce machine may be
perfect for you. If you're only popping popcorn for yourself or a friend or two, the 2.5 ounce machine would do the trick.
Q. Do FunTime Popcorn Machines require assembly?
A. The amount of assembly depends on the machine you buy. Our popcorn machines with carts require the most assembly; however with our clear
instructions and included tools a single person can assemble our largest popcorn machine in less than 30 minutes.
Q. How long does it take to cook a batch of popcorn?
A. Once the kettle has heated, each batch should take approximately three to four minutes. This time may vary depending on the size of your
machine. Pre-heating time on the kettle is usually 2-3 minutes.
Q. What is the best way to clean my FunTime Popcorn Machine?
A. FunTime Popcorn Machines have tempered glass panels, aluminum corner posts, and a stainless steel cleanout tray and popcorn deck. All of
these parts can be cleaned with vinegar and water. The kettles are designed to be wiped out with a clean cloth after each use. IMPORTANT
NOTE: NEVER submerge a kettle in water. The kettle contains electrical components inside that can short out and damage your pot or cause
harm and injury.
Q. What type of oil should I use to cook popcorn?
A. Choosing the right oil to pop your popcorn is extremely important. The oil will not only affect the taste and nutritional value, but also
affect whether or not the popcorn will stick to the kettle. The most common oil used in movie theaters is a combination of coconut and
vegetable oils. Other oils you could use are sunflower, peanut, or canola oil.
