GORGEOUS ANTIQUE SPONGEWARE JARDINIERE!

Lovely example...sponge or spongeware jardiniere with an embossed gold embellished scroll design. Blue and green sponge colors are still quite vivid...gold embellished rim and design pattern embellishment shows some general age wear. We do have one area on the top rim edge that appears to have a bit of damage that has been re-colored at some point (Photo 5)...does not truly detract. The interior does shows some stain from plants previously housed...may clean away with your expertise. General age crazing throughout the interior and exterior is noted...no hairlines or other issues are found. Great piece for your collection or use. Measures in at 10" wide and stands 8 & 3/4" tall. Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment.

Additional Packaging Requests: We have received a few requests to "double box" our items. While we take great care to pack our items normally, we do not generally double box.
