These beautiful and unique cards double as note cards and realistic paper sculptures of 5 species native to the Carolinas. Each set of 5 cards (and 5 envelopes) contains 1 card each of the following: AMERICAN BUMBLE BEE, EASTERN CHIPMUNK, DIAMONDBACK TERRAPIN HATCHLING, RED-COCKADED WOODPECKER and THE METAMORPHOSIS OF A NARROW MOUTHED TOAD.

They are 5.5"x8.5" & blank on the inside with complete assembly instructions on the back. The cards are printed on 30% post consumer waste recycled card stock and come with a 30% pcw recycled white envelopes. All sculpture/notecards are printed in full color.

These cards can be sent for any occasion. Recipients will enjoy not only receiving a card but the time spent creating their own paper animal sculpture. All nature loving children and adults experienced with craft scissors will soon create their own little menagerie.

All of the sculpture artwork was created by North Carolina Nature Artist and writer Anne Runyon and are part of her "Carolina Critter Cards" collection. "Carolina Critter Cards" celebrates species native to the Carolinas.

The cards, printed on a natural white parchment card stock, are union made and printed in North Carolina by Grass Roots Press, Inc. (a long time member of Green America.)

Anne Runyon is a talented North Carolina nature artist & writer. Her artwork is featured in environmental education publications & exhibits throughout North Carolina.
