| This is an old antique 19th Century late 1800s original unsigned seascape oil on canvas unframed painting of a little girl who has been rescued from the ocean by her faithful Landseer Newfoundland rescue dog. It is a popular Victorian scene. There is a streamer boat in background on the horizon. The painting is 37" by 55" and has been relined and is on newer stretchers. There is some very light nonoffensive crazing that I dont really notice. It is nice painted and very stunning in person. Thanks for looking. |
