works  like a wood planer,  scraping a block of ice . The top of this ice shaver is hinged and that allows access to the ice that has been shaved.

This wonderful piece of Americana measures about  approx.: 2"x2-5/8"x5-5/8"

  It features an easily removable 1-1/2" x 2" blade which can be readily sharpened and replaced with one wing nut.
