Fancy Dress Magic is one of the UK's leading online Fancy Dress  retailers, regularly supplying costumes to a range of customers, including the BBC and London Fashion Week. We endeavour to answer your queries within 48 working hours 

We source a fantastic range of costumes and accessories from some of the best suppliers throughout the UK and worldwide - and we use our expertise to get these delivered to you as quickly as possible.

What methods of payment do you accept? 

We accept a variety of payments including various Credit or Debit cards and Paypal There is no surcharge applied for payment via a credit card. Orders can be placed via eBay or over the telephone. If you wish to order over the phone please call us on 0161 797 4220

Do the prices online include VAT? 

All of our prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20 %. Our VAT number is 105166152

UK DELIVERIES


	

	
We aim to dispatch all orders received by 4pm on the same day, orders received after this point will be sent out the next working day. On the run up to Halloween due to the volume of orders being placed on a daily basis it may not always be possible to dispatch as quickly as we would like. All orders however will be sent out a maximum of 3 working days after they are placed.
	
	

	
A signature may be required, therefore where possible please use a delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel, or if more convenient you can amend the delivery address during checkout to an alternative address. ie. work place. 
	
	

	
Special Delivery orders must be received by 1pm and upon delivery they will require a signature, please therefore ensure someone is available at the delivery address to sign for the parcel. Unfortunately special delivery orders cannot be left in a safe place as a signature is required.
	


INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES


	

	
All International Orders are sent via Airmail - orders over £30 are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked. 
	
	

	
A signature will be required, therefore please use a delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel.
	
	

	
Please allow 7-10 working days for delivery from the date you receive your order dispatch confirmation email. If your order still hasn't been received and you are unable to track it via Royal Mail or Parcelforce please contact us. This delivery timeframe is an estimate and delivery could take longer, depending on local postal services and customs.
	
	

	
99% of our items can be shipped internationally but unfortunately there are some products that sadly cannot due to size limitations and fragility.

UK & INTERNATIONAL RETURNS


	

	
We really hope you will be delighted with anything you buy from Fancy Dress Magic, however if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason we offer a no-quibble 30 days returns policy.
	
	

	
Items must be returned unused and in a re-saleable condition, with the original swing tags and packaging attached, exactly as received. 
	
	

	
Returns, unless defective, damaged or not as specified on your order confirmation, are returned at your own expense. We recommend that you return any items via a fully trackable delivery service. Refunds cannot be issued if a returned order has been lost in transit and fails to reach us. Proof of postage alone is not proof of receipt.
	
	

	
Due to their nature teeth, facial hair, wigs, make-up, tights and stockings cannot be returned unless unworn or unused. Such products cannot be returned if they have been tried on or used.
	
	

	
When returning goods you must open a returns case through eBay and include a note of your name, address, reason for the return, eBay item number and user ID.
	
	

	
Under the Consumer Rights Directive (CRD), you are entitled to return an order for a full refund - providing you are returning your entire order and you have informed us in writing within 14 working days of receiving it. Please note, we do not cover return postage. Return postage via an appropriate service is the responsibility of the buyer. 
	
	

	
Please make sure you return your order within a timely manner and safely packaged. If returned orders are received damaged we may make a deduction from your reimbursement for loss in value of the goods.
	
	

	
We aim to issue a refund within 2 working days of receiving a return and we will send you an email to confirm when the refund has been issued. 
	
	

	
In the unlikely event that your order has been received faulty, damaged or not as ordered we will arrange with you to have the item either returned or disposed of.  If a replacement item* is required this will be sent out free of any delivery charge. If an item has arrived damaged please do not dispose of it before contacting us. We will not be able to issue a refund or send out a replacement without photographic evidence of the damaged item. 
	


* International Orders Only - we can only issue a refund on items that have arrived damaged, we are unable to send out replacements.

All our prices are in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT at 20%, where applicable. 
	
	

	
All prices are as accurate as possible, every effort has been taken to ensure no mistakes have been made, if however we find any inaccuracies on the site we reserve the right to amend these errors to the correct prices without prior warning or notice. Our sale items & special offers are only valid for a specified time. FANCY DRESS MAGIC reserves the right to alter these prices &/or withdraw such offers at any time without prior notice.
	


ORDER PLACEMENT


	

	
All orders are confirmed by email. We will contact you by e-mail or telephone regarding any delivery delays or security issues. 
	
	

	
Please note our initial email confirmation simply acknowledges your order it does not confirm it or make it legally binding. The order between FANCY DRESS MAGIC & you, the customer, is only accepted when the payment has been processed, stock allocated & the order has been dispatched. We do reserve the right to decline your order, if that's the case we will contact you if we require further information or we are unable to fulfill your order.
	


PACKAGING POLICY

Wherever possible we do try & re-use all our cardboard boxes. From time to time it may be necessary to wrap fragile items in bubble wrap however we do try to keep its use to a minimum.
