This is a pretty cool Russian Sega Megadrive compatible
console.
It will play all your old original Sega Megadrive games and comes with an AV cable which gives better picture and sound quality than the old style RF cables that the original consoles came with.
It's main advantage over other Megadrive consoles is its Megakey multi-region feature. This is a factory fitted 4 position switch on the underside of the console that allows you to play import games and also change the language. The language aspect is interesting because some games give different effects when in Japanese mode, language (obviously), more blood, different music, different character names, different game name e.g. Streets Of Rage/Bare Knuckle. I haven't fully figured out what the markings for each switch position mean, unfortunately.
There is also a PAL 50Hz (marked 'II') / NTSC 60Hz (marked 'I') switch
And one more switch marked A/B, I'm told this is an 'overclock' switch, so select between the standard 8Mhz and an overclocked 10Mhz.
