Here we have a fantastic example of 1960's audio, a stunning 1960's PHILIPS "DISC JOCKEY JUNIOR" record player with single play deck. This fantastic vintage player is in very good condition. It has also been serviced and is in full working order. The sound and output is excellent, very crisp and clear after it's correct service.
his model comes in Navy Blue and grey. It has knitted cloth speaker cover, 2 brass tipped control knobs for on/off volume and tone, and original Philips logo. The cabinet has been cleaned and is in "very good" condition with some minor signs of wear. This player is typical of the era it was produced in and scream of the 1960s. This model has a valve amplifier which gives an authentic, rich 1960s sound and is in perfect working order, after a service including any faulty/suspect parts being replaced. The sound and output is excellent, very crisp, clear, powerful and undistorted. The 4 speed deck plays at speeds 16, 33, 45 and 78 (10",LP AND 45'S) manually. The turntable, motor and all mechanisms have all been fully serviced, oiled and adjusted for correct operation. Any aging parts have been replaced. It has also been fitted with a new, correctly fused 3 amp plug in keeping with modern safety standards. We have also replaced the stylus and flip over cartridge for optimum sound quality!The cabinet as mentioned is a lovely combination of blue and grey/off white and while in very good condition is a vintage item so will have some signs of use.
