Payment

We accept payment by: Paypal, Personal Cheque, Credit / Debit Card:  Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Switch/Maestro, Solo, American Express, Postal Order, Bank Transfer.  All Auction and "Buy It Now" prices include VAT.   VAT invoices can be supplied on request.

Shipping

All items are delivered FREE of charge, the price of each product includes delivery. All items include free postal insurance.


UK orders will be sent via Royal Mail or other courier; items over £100 in value are normally delivered on the next working day, and will require a signature. Other UK items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked Delivery or First Class mail (1-3 working days delivery time). We also ship to any B.F.P.O. address.

Other orders are sent via insured Royal Mail Airmail, or courier such as DPD; most items need to be signed for. Delivery times are normally 2-14 working days, depending on location.

Delivery performance during busy times such as Christmas may be slightly lower; although we endeavour to keep deliveries on time by upgrading delivery methods free of charge where needed. If you have any special requirements for delivery, such as a specific date the item(s) are required by, please let us know and we should be able to meet them.

Country Attire has many years of experience in mail order, please contact us if you have any questions. When placing your order you should receive an automatic order confirmation by email, this will confirm the details of your order, but is in no way an acceptance of your order or a guarantee of supply. Unless otherwise requested all communication with you by us will be through email, therefore it is imperative that you correctly state your email address in your order.

Terms

All items are guaranteed by the manufacturer against defects in normal use for a minimum of one year.   Many of the more expensive items carry a two year warranty.   Items have a 14-day 'approval' period. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the complete product undamaged in an unused "as new" condition within 14 days of the date of receipt and we will refund your purchase price.  We pride ourselves on our customer service. 


In the rare event that you have a problem with your item please contact us as soon as possible and we'll always be happy to help.

Returns

All items are guaranteed by the manufacturer against defects in normal use for a minimum of one year. Many of the more expensive items carry a two year warranty.


You can return your items for exchange or store credit anytime if the goods are unused and in their original packaging. We aim to turn around exchanges quickly, but please allow up to 21 days during our busy periods such as after Christmas.

Items have a 21-day 'approval' period. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the complete product undamaged in an unused "as new" condition within 21 days of the date of receipt and we will refund your purchase price. If you have received a free gift with your purchase and require a refund, the gift will also need to be returned before a refund can be issued.

For items purchased as Christmas presents we extend the returns period to the 15th of January for items purchased from the 1st of November to the 24th of December.

Customers based in the United Kingdom can use the FREE POST return label on the front of the packing slip; the parcel can be taken to any Post Office and handed to the clerk. Proof of postage must be obtained; as without this proof no claim can be made for items lost or damaged in transit.

All returns should be accompanied by a proof of purchase, e.g. your packing slip or invoice, or a printout/handwritten details of your order if no packing note was enclosed. There is a returns form on the reverse of your receipt which should be completed and sent with the returned item(s). On the front of the receipt there is also a return address label; please attach this to the parcel and return to us; always remember to keep your proof of postage, and to insure the parcel if the item(s) enclosed are of high value.

Please note that if the total value of the goods you are returning to us from the UK exceeds £500 you should contact us and we will make alternative arrangements for the return of the goods.

It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the item(s) arrive with us safely and in a saleable state with all tags and bags present, non-UK customers must also pay the cost of returning the item(s) to us. If any parcels are lost, stolen or damaged in transit when returned, it is the customer's responsibility to claim from the relevant carrier company for their loss.

Returns from outside the UK should be marked clearly as 'RETURNED BRITISH GOODS', this information should also be entered on any customs declaration that is required. Country Attire reserves the right to refuse any returned parcel that has attracted a customs charge.

When trying goods that may be returned please take care; once goods are soiled they cannot be considered for exchange or credit.

When returning faulty goods with a defect discovered in the first 21 days after receipt you will be entitled to a full refund or exchange plus your (reasonable) postage costs to send the item(s) back to Country Attire. For faulty items where the defect is discovered after 21 days, we will repair or replace the item if a repair is not possible or practical. If we cannot replace the item because it is discontinued or out of stock, we will offer an alternative of similar or greater value, or store credit to the full value of the faulty item. Please be aware products that are returned as faulty may be returned to the manufacturer for investigation before we are able to issue a refund or replacement, or to repair the item.

Please contact us before returning faulty items and we will supply either a free post label, collect the items or advise on the best return method.

For enquiries regarding a Barbour product with a suspected manufacturing fault, purchased from Country Attire we recommend contacting Barbour Customer Services, who will advise on the replacement or repair of the item subject to the terms of the Barbour Guarantee. If you prefer to contact us at Country Attire we will also be able to assist you; but as we return faulty items to Barbour for inspection it is normally quicker to contact them directly. Your statutory rights are not affected.
