Up for auction- a very healthy Figo Preto fig tree in a tree gallon pot. It is a two year old tree and is about two feet tall from the soil line.

I grew the tree myself from cuttings that I received from Sue Vanessa from the original tree in Point Loma, San Diego, California USA. It has been clearly labeled ever since. All of the pictures are of the tree and Figo Preto figs from my yard in San Diego, CA. Just look at that sugar content!

This is a very rare and highly sought after fig because it is extremely similar to Black Madeira in looks and taste (the best fig in many people's opinion) but it RIPENS WEEKS BEFORE BLACK MADEIRA!!! Please do a google search to see for yourself.

The tree does not show signs of fig mosaic virus to my eyes, although I cannot say that it is virus free (no tests have been done). Please look at the leaf pictures above.
