Washburn HB35 Semi acoustic in Cherry red (my last one of this model)
Manufactured in the late 80's early 90's, late Japanese or early Korean production no one is 100% sure, check out the web. If you are familiar with these guitars you will know of the quality of the woods and the high standard of build. This guitar is in great condition for a guitar that has some use over the years. There are some scratches on the back ("buckle rash") but I was not able to take a good picture, so it is not so heavy, I can try again if you wish. This guitar has been upgraded with Gibson humbuckers (sorry I do not know which model) and at the same time was fitted with quality pots, tone capacitors, switch and jack plug. The original parts can be supplied with the guitar. The scratch plate (black) is also with the guitar. This guitar is in a nice cherry red and has some light flame in the two piece maple top. It has some dings and dongs as can be expected for a guitar of this age but nothing serious. The gold plating is worn on the bridge and stop tail as you would expect but everything works as it should. It plays and sounds very nicely and has a good "action" and tone. My plan was to change all hardware to nickle (that is why the new volume and tone knobs have silver tops) and build a "Clapton 335 replica" but other projects have taken priority. This guitar is sold with no case but will be well packed if it has to be shipped. Any questions please ask.
